Nutrition Services now requires all students to use their barcode on the Skyward app or their student ID card to make purchases from the cafeteria lines. Student ID cards were issued when school picture were taken. Please see the Front Office for assistance.

The Lake Mountain Scholastic Book Fair runs Tuesday through Friday this week. Come in before or after school, during lunch, or during the Celebration of Learning on Wednesday evening!

In lieu of Parent Teacher Conferences, we host a Celebration of Learning for students to showcase all of the amazing things they are working on in their classes. Join us on October 22nd from 4 to 8 pm; there will be food trucks, performances and games! Beginning at 6 pm, there will be an opportunity for parents to learn how to navigate between Skyward and Canvas and utilize the parent portal.

The "GET THE SCOOP on CTE" event is coming up on Sept 22nd from 5-8pm. Sponsored by Alpine School District, this is a family event geared towards Jr High and Middle School students. Bring your family and come learn about Pathways and future careers. There will be FREE ICE CREAM and hands-on activities throughout the night.

Our weekly Late Bus Thursdays starts tomorrow! If you regularly ride the bus home but wish you had a day you could stay a little later to work with your teachers - this is for you! All students are welcome though. Some teachers sponsor fun after school activities you may participate in too! Remember - you must get a "late bus pass" from the teacher you worked with to be able to ride it home. The late bus picks up at the front of the school (west side) at 3:55pm.

School Picture Day is August 28th and 29th. Students will have their pictures taken during their English class. Even if you are not planning to purchase a picture packet, your student must have their picture taken for the yearbook and also for their student activity card. Picture retake day is October 1st. We appreciate the input we have received from parents this summer in response to SB 178 prohibiting cell phone use during instructional time. As a result of that law, LMMS will have a new policy for the upcoming school year. Please review the policy with your student.

Also bring your Student ID number for practicing how the lunch lines work and receive a free treat at the end of the day.
