Reflections, the National Art competition is back! This year’s theme is “What my Culture Means to me”. Admissions are accepted in Dance Choreography, Literature, Film Production, Music Composition, 2D and 3D Visual Arts and Photography. Culture is the "way of life" for a group of people, including their shared traditions, beliefs, languages, foods, clothing, and arts. It is passed down from generation to generation and makes groups of people unique. Use the theme to create artwork in one more of these categories:

Although the Front Office will hold onto valuable items that have been found, such as cell phones, wallets, and air pods, our main Lost & Found is kept in the Student Advocate's Office next to room F-126. Please note that each of the boys' and girls' locker rooms have their own lost and founds for items left in PE. The Lost & Founds are cleared out regularly.
Our Student Advocates will be doing their first round of lost and found donations on Friday, September 18th. Please come check for any items you have lost since school began!
Cross Country's first race is this coming Wednesday! 5pm at Lakeridge Junior High.
7th Grade CCRs will be September 17th-22nd
What is a CCR?
College and Career Readiness (CCR) is a meeting between students and counselors to get to know each other and plan for success in middle school and beyond.
When is the CCR?
CCRs will take place on September 17th, 18th, 21st, and 22nd according to your student's Term 1 CCA class.
Where is the CCR?
CCRs will be during your student's assigned time in the library.
Who is invited?
All 7th graders will attend and parents are encouraged to attend as well. Parents can meet with counselors at this time for a brief but meaningful discussion.
Open enrollment for your student's school-issued device ends Tuesday, September 8th!

The last day to request a class change is Tuesday, August 25th. Please visit our counseling webpage for the Class Change Request Form to submit your request.
There will be a fire drill on Monday, August 24th during Shield Time. Students are not able to be checked in or out during the drill while our front office is closed from 11 to 11:35am.

LMMS Yoga Studio Beginning + Intermediate Yoga Classes with Mrs. Luke, you will need:

Important 7th grade day information! We invite all 7th graders to attend an orientation the day before school starts on August 18th, from 8:15am -12pm.
All regular bus routes will run before and after school.
Please print your schedule before attending. We will run through all eight periods and provide mini-lessons to help students transition to middle school.
For the 7th Grade Day Only, all students will all enter through doors on the NORTH end of the school. There will be signs directing students to those north doors. If you drop your student off on the south or east sides of the building, they will need to walk to the north end.
